Jim Beyer – Chief Executive Officer
Mr Beyer is a Mining Engineer with a broad range of operating and start up experience encompassing 25 years across a number of commodities including gold, copper/uranium, and lead/zinc.
For over ten years he held general management roles in both operational and planning with WMC Resources at its Olympic Dam operation, and Newmont Mining Corporation. He has extensive new mine construction and start up experience including Operations General Manager for the Boddington Gold Mine, where he had responsibility for start-up preparations, commissioning and production ramp up.
Mr Beyer also holds a post-graduate Masters majoring in Mineral Economics.
Peter Kerr – Chief Financial Officer
Mr Kerr is an Australian Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry in Australia and Canada. He has held senior corporate and finance positions with companies in the gold, uranium and base metals sectors, including Bannerman Resources Limited, Teck Cominco Ltd, and Northern Gold NL. The latter being an ASX-listed company which Peter, as Managing Director, built up from 2002 before it was acquired by Canadian company GBS Gold International Inc via a public takeover offer in 2006.
David Stokes – Company Secretary & General Counsel
Mr Stokes was appointed Company Secretary and General Counsel in April 2012. He is a corporate lawyer with a diverse range of mining and governance experience having worked at a corporate and operational level in the energy and resources sector for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Mount Gibson, Mr Stokes was General Counsel and Company Secretary at Gindalbie Metals Limited, Corporate Counsel for Iluka Resources Limited and Resolute Mining Limited. He also worked in private practice for a number of years.
Scott de Kruijff – General Manager Operations
Mr de Kruijff has over 30 years experience in the mining industry and has held senior operational management roles across a range of commodities including large-scale iron ore, diamonds and salt operations.
